Jonathan Edwards
Most famous for "Sinners in the Hands of An Angry God", Jonathan Edwards sparked the beginning of the First Great Awakening, which was an effect of the Age of Reason. Edwards was a Yale minister who refused to convert into the Church of England. He soon began to preach that people such as New Englanders, were becoming far too concernced with worldly matters. |
